CLI QUICKSTART
One deploy, one trackable operation.
Once an operator has installed Midnight and created your account, authenticate the CLI, link the current directory to a service, and submit the source tree. midnight up follows the operation unless you pass --detach.

Use the surface that fits the moment.
The web console is best for exploring state and history. The CLI keeps deploys close to a repository. The versioned HTTP API supports automation. All three work with the same projects, environments, services, deployments, and operations.
READ THIS FIRST
Know the current boundary.
Midnight is an alpha preview built for one trusted Ubuntu 24.04 or Debian 12 server. It is Railway-inspired, but it is not Railway API-compatible. Multi-host scheduling and managed high availability are not part of the supported path yet.
